Student Success

Student Success is a tapestry of solutions and best practices created by volunteers, nonprofits and for-profits that empower students, parents and educators. Student Success leverages innovative technologies, like BigMarker, to virtualize access to the learning resources that build student capacity and parent engagement; provide access to scholarships, mentoring, tutoring, and teacher /counselor enrichment; and that inspire results through gameification, recognition and rewards.
We are implementing the following actions:
• An online scholarship database that provides a single portal to many funding sources.
• A web conferencing capability to virtualize mentoring and tutoring so that more students needing these resources can acquire them. Through web conferencing we will reduce cost of these services and provide convenience and flexible access to everyone from anywhere.
• Parent University a virtual school for parents that provides a curriculum based approach to increase parent engagement and grade specific parent to dos and best practices that drive student success.
• Collaborative partnerships that provide teacher and school counselor enrichment.
